MacDonald Mailing cranks up the pace

MacDonald Mailing were recently called upon to turn on the capacity in order to help new client one of their major travel clients get their new (and bulky) brochure out to their customer database.

The job involved enclosing and mailing over 210,000 brochures, each of which weighed in at a hefty 1.2kgs.

In all the Sittingbourne team had to polywrap 270 tonnes of brochures which were delivered on 350 pallets. They had three days to complete the job and get them in the post, which in itself took 15 Royal Mail lorries to transport the 565 cages (pictured below) from our premises.

The operation team swung smoothly into action and completed the job on schedule and within the client’s timetable.
